Cezar – a naturist resort in Poland

Today we will take you to Cezar – a small naturist resort in southern Poland. We still consider ourselves beginner naturists, and this was one of our first trips to this kind of place. Moreover, we went there to the New Year’s Eve party. And what’s even more – because there are not many naturist centers in our country, we went there with many fears and did not know what to expect.  Such a fate of a beginner – you don’t know what you don’t know. When booking a place for a New Year’s Eve party and two nights, we didn’t even know what to ask 🙂

About Cezar

Cezar is a small naturist resort – a few houses on a plot of about a hectare. Founded in 2002 by Peter – a Dutchman living in Poland. By going to Cezar, you will have the opportunity to meet him in person. The center is primarily a sauna, internal pool, a jacuzzi, a large garden with deckchairs, and a place for a bonfire. It is also interesting in the area because Cezar is located near the mountain ranges of the Silesian Beskids and the Żywiec Beskid.

Approach to nudity

On the website, I was taken by a delicate and encouraging introduction addressed to people just starting an adventure with nature. The center itself is also open in this respect. The sauna makes walking in a towel or bathrobe as natural as naked. Swimming pool, naked jacuzzi. Party – as you think. Complete freedom and openness. It’s nice.

Advice for stay

• Guest rooms are in a few houses close (some closer,  others – through a street, but a few steps away). Some were recently renovated, and others are waiting for their turn. Some with kitchen, others without. When booking a specific house or room, it is worth asking for these details.

• Prices – very affordable. It seems that access to the sauna was not included in the price of accommodation and you had to pay extra for it

• Charming and friendly service. Sabina and Peter care about a unique atmosphere

• Food is on its own

• Take the bathrobes with you, especially in winter, because you will walk a lot on the outside

• Surroundings – it is worth climbing or riding a lift to Mount Szyndzielnia. Next time we are planning longer trips around the Beskid mountains.

Our fears

What were we afraid of about this trip and our first naturist event?

Well, you must know there will always be at least one uncle at every Polish wedding. Uncle Mirek. I don’t know about other countries, but drinking is a national sport in Poland. But despite this, many can’t do drinking well. There will always be an uncle at every wedding that can’t. He gets drunk first, then throws embarrassing jokes around. He is also the loudest and dances best. And this fact means that the women part of the event feels fear. Uncle Mirek will want to dance often, treating them like rag dolls and treading abundantly on the slippers. Will Uncle Mirek be on New Year’s Eve in Cezar? Will there be a few of them there? Where will I hide Kasia, then?

Without keeping you in suspense – nothing like that happened. There was no Uncle Mirek. There were not only Poles but also Czechs. There was no sport drinking. Society of all ages, although more mature than younger. We were partying mainly with our friends, but their number increased a bit on this trip!

Summary

In a separate post, we will describe the New Year’s Eve party, an essential part of our stay in Cezar. Coming to Cezar was a good choice for people taking their first steps into naturism. It was an enjoyable trip. We gathered a mass of positive experiences.

The important reflection with which I came back from this stay – regarding social naturism – the crucial thing is the company. We have chosen to go there with our holiday friends from Koversada. And we have chosen very well. But that’s how it works with everything. Every party and every trip depends on people. Naked or clothed, the same rules apply as in everyday life. And as to social naturism, the first word is the key.

Our next trip is the FKK Termy near Berlin, during which we will see how Germany approaches nudity. Spoiler: They are much more relaxed.

Hi, I'm Michal. I like to think, count and write. And of course I love nature. I believe that we are most effective and happiest when we build on our strengths, and not try to improve our weaknesses. So I'll try to share what I like and can do here.
